Sheila Anders is the Director of Administrative Services at the Northern Arizona University Center for International Education. Prior to joining the international team at NAU, she worked as a budget analyst at Coconino County. A Flagstaff resident for over a dozen years, she has been active in community causes and fundraising throughout her time here. She and her husband are also the independent business owner/operators of Shirtworks, a screenprinting business with a focus on providing original artwork and promotional products for local businesses at competitive prices. Sheila has additionally assisted a number of small area businesses with business plan development consulting as part of her commitment to the support for local area economic development.
Sheila is active in supporting a number of sustainability initiatives on the NAU campus. She currently serves on the NAU Environmental Caucus, enlisted the Center for International Education as a beta test environment for the Green Office Certification Program, and is developing a comprehensive departmental sustainability and civic engagement plan designed to integrate the curricular content of the Global Learning Initiative into a specific student learning strategy for international students and Education Abroad student participants.
